How to Distribute LightBurn Products
- The latest version of LightBurn is always available on the Downloads page of our website. Providing this link to new users is the best way to ensure they always download the most up-to-date version of LightBurn.
- We discourage the practice of directly providing the LightBurn installer to users on external storage devices such as flash drives, as these versions can quickly become outdated.
- All past releases of LightBurn are available here: https://release.lightburnsoftware.com/
- Users with expired licenses will need to download the last version of LightBurn released before their key's expiry date, or the software will not function. Users can also choose to add a year of updates to their license so they can use the latest release, and any new version released in the following year.
- We host public Release Candidates in the same repository. Release Candidates are stable versions of upcoming releases that require a little more testing before official launch. We welcome our partners to share these releases, but ask that you inform your users that these releases are intended for testing, and request that they report bugs on our forum, or directly to us at Support@LightBurnSoftware.com. We strongly discourage the practice of providing Release Candidates on external storage devices, as they are always intended for temporary use.
- In some cases, we may directly provide our partners with private test versions of our software. These versions must never be shared publicly in any form, or used for anything other than private testing.
